What will the future’s sustainable transportation look like? Mobility is not only transportation of people, it is also transportation of our consumption, including online purchases. Many modes of transport are energy-intensive and pollute our cities. In some of the more environmentally friendly forms of mobility – bicycles, public transportation, and electric vehicles – plastic plays an essential role.
Mobility is also at play in the hobbies we pursue. Think of kayaking, sailing, surfing, skateboarding, roller-skating and skiing. What would these look like without plastic?
