Case: Fibreglass facade plank
Fibreglass Facade Plank
Fiberline Building Profiles A/S
Sustainable Architecture & Construction / Future Materials
With unique insulating properties, low weight, and excellent durability fibreglass facade planks enable energy-efficient end solutions. Together with an invisible mounting system and low weight it provides unique aesthetic possibilities for the benefit of the final design.
In general, fibreglass has a good reputation for its environmental profile, and ours is certainly no exception. With an energy-efficient production, longer durability and fewer resources for maintenance, fibreglass is an energy- and cost-optimised alternative to traditional building materials such as steel, wood, aluminium and concrete.
Energy-efficient facade systems
The Fiberline plank is a polymer-based composite, consisting of fibreglass and polyester. In combination, it provides a very strong and rigid material. Together with high insulating properties, the facade planks are suitable for creating energy-efficient facade solutions.
Our facade planks have a proven track record for many different facade solutions including stunning architectural buildings, bridge cladding, coastal near constructions, and cladding along the railway.
Advantages with fibreglass facade plank:
Low weight and easy handling
Minimal maintenance
Corrosion- and weather resistant
Electrical insulation
Flexible and invisible mounting system
Smart mounting system
With a flexible and invisible mounting system, there are no architectural limitations with this facade plank. The plank can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, and the plank itself functions as both a facade panel and wall bracket.
